Well, I walked today. It was great! Now I just have to do this every day of the week and stop eating so much so that I will lose all this extra weight!
I was actually ready to make a healthy dinner tonight, after stopping at the store on the way home, until my 2 month old baby was having a really bad night and ended up in the emergency room. He is just fine. We probably jumped the gun a little bit and took him, when we really needed to give him some Tylenol and comfort him after a reaction to his vaccines today.
I just hate that they give these little ones so many vaccines at once I know that they are for his own good, it is just hard. His little leg was swollen and he was just screaming at my moms. I felt for mom as well. She just wasn't able to console him. He seems to be doing well now. We keep checking on him every 20 minutes or so and he is sleeping soundly.

All I want to do is eat!
All I want to do is eat today. I am just so bored that I keep going to the kitchen to get something more to eat. It is crazy! I have even eaten 2 pieces of caramel cake and I really don't like caramel cake all that much, it is just something else to eat!
I have to get it back together beginning in the morning. I feel terrible and have heart burn right now from all the food today. Wow, amazing how bad things can go in just a week. This weight has to come off. The exercise has to begin and the eating has to end!!!

Off Work :)
Well, normally on my day off I would just hang around the house and eat everything in site. Well, I didn't do that today, but I ate a lot more than I should and bad things as well. I didn't walk, running behind taking Sarah to school and then had to come home to be here for the home healthcare nurse to take care of Zac. Of course, then back out to get Sarah. Ran errands most of the rest of the afternoon.
I made Rich a cake tonight and of course licked the icing pan. I also had a small piece after dinner. Ate way too much for dinner. Tortilla pizza, which isn't terrible for me, but I put bad stuff on my pizza and of course had some snacking while making them :( So far not doing so well with the diet. I have to get out exercising, I know that helps and makes a big difference in how I feel and that I will work harder with the eating.
Tomorrow morning is Sarah's first soccer game. I know that it will make me think about losing this weight and feeling better. I know that I have to do this! I will make it. The first few weeks are always very difficult.

Well, I've only walked one day so far this week. It has been raining every other day. I'm going to get up tomorrow and walk though. It felt so good to exercise the other day. The worst thing is that I have not eaten very well this week. I had one of the big chocolate duet cookies from Panera today. Boy was that good!
We had pasta for dinner, the only really good part about it was that I ate about a cup and 1/2 of spinach with my pasta. Th texas toast garlic bread wasn't good for me at all!!
No work tomorrow, so walking and taking Sarah to school is on the schedule. It is going to be hard not to eat junk food all day while I'm at home. I'll have to find some things to do around the house to keep my mind off fo food! Good thing we don't have a lot of junk in the house.

Time to Lose the Weight - Again!
Well, today is Monday, September 7th. I'm once again going to make a change in my life and it is exercise and weight loss time. I'm considered obese in today's standards of weight and height and I'm not going to remain this way for long. I need and want to lose 50 pounds. I believe that at last weigh in here on our scale I weight 172 pounds. That is a lot!!!
My goal is to lose all this weight by the end of February. That gives me six months to lose the weight. After having Robbie I really have to get serious and get this weight off of me. I need and want to be healthy for both me and my family. I know that it will make me happier!
So, I got up this morning and Robbie and I went out before the rain to walk. I feel better today than I have in a long time. We walked for right at 40 minutes. I don't know how far it was, because I didn't have my pedometer on. I need to find it!
I am going to be walking once again with my mom at least 3 days a week. She is fabulous to walk with. We have been walking together for close to 16 or more years. I believe that it was when I moved home after college that we really started walking and even running for a number of years. Boy I would love to get back to running some and do the Peachtree again one day.
My real goal would be to hit the pavement with my brother-in-law Keven and run the Disney Marathon. I have got to have one of those awesome Mickey Mouse Medals. For anyone that doesn't already know me. I am a huge Mickey Mouse fan. I think that I should probably do the Half Marathon first. I know that I won't be in shape and trained by the January 2010 races. So, I believe that my goal will be to do the 1/2 marathon in January of 2011. Right before I turn 40. So, then the next year when I am 40 I want to do the Marathon. I don't think that these goals are too lofty.
I'm going to attempt to post some photos of me during this time so that I can track how I've changed and everyone else can see how I change as well. Should be a fun time. Lots of changes going on at work, new baby at home, etc... Never a better time to change things with my weight.
